WEBSITE DESIGN & PHOTOGRAPHY

Website Design and Photography for Artists and Makers

I approach website design as a collaborative and evolutionary process. Sites evolve through conversations around purpose, aesthetic's and through discussion of test pages. My extensive experience as an artist and lecturer enables me to effectively support and facilitate creative people as they bring their work online. I enjoy the process of getting to know an Artist’s or Maker’s work, in order to understand the best way of showcasing it.

Sites can range from simply 3 pages to much more complex ones, showcasing a wide range of the artist/makers works, activities or services. Sites are designed so that they display clearly on mobile phones, and so that the information on them works effectively with search engines.

I am able to train Artists/Makers to update and maintain their sites, for example how to upload new work to an online shop. I charge £25 an hour for website design, a simple site can cost from £500

I also provide professional photography of three-dimensional pieces and flat artworks, this ranges from descriptive shots on neutral white or grey backgrounds to lifestyle imagery. I can also provide video of artworks.
